| YEARBOOK: GOT PICTURES? The Yearbook Committee wants your pictures! Please forward classroom activity pictures (ie. celebrations, field trips, etc) taken throughout the year. Please make sure your photos are labeled with the child(ren)’s name(s), grade(s), and teacher(s). PHOTO REQUIREMENTS: • JPEG format (minimum 300 dpi) • Limit 10 pictures per activity • No cell phone pictures Please send via email to: RaccoonYearbook@gmail.com Or send a CD to PTO. YEARBOOK PRE-SALE: Pre-orders will begin AFTER winter break. At that time, flyers will be sent home in your child's Thursday folder and you will be able to pre-order your 2011-2012 yearbook for just $20. COMING SOON--RIVERSIDE'S WINTER BOOK FAIR! The winter book fair will be here on January 23rd through January 27th in Riverside's Parent's Place. For more details CLICK HERE . Students may purchase books with their class at their assigned shopping time during the week. The assigned time for your child's class will be sent home in the January 19th Thursday folder. Parents and families may also purchase books during our Book Fair Family Night on Tuesday, 1/24 from 5:00-8:00 pm. In addition we will once again host an "On-line Book Fair" from January 25th through February 14th. You may access the online book fair through our Book Fair Home Page (see link printed above). RIVERSIDE: IT'S TIME TO GO GREEN! Every week, PTO sends home several papers in your child’s red Thursday folders. While this information is very important, we would like to reduce the amount of paper we use each year by e-mailing you the information instead. Click HERE to learn more! TEN for TEN FUNDRAISER: For the third year in a row, Broward County Schools have sustained severe budget cuts. Funding for school supplies has been drastically reduced. Supplies donated at the beginning of the year are depleted long before the school year ends. Teachers and room parents frequently replace supplies with their own money. TEN for TEN (Ten dollars per student for ten months) is a program where 100% of donated funds go directly into our classrooms. The teachers decide what to purchase, with the money raised based on classroom needs. Click HERE to download your Ten For Ten donation form. RIVERSIDE'S PTO BOOK EXCHANGE PROGRAM Don't know what to do with your child's old books? Trade them in to Riverside's PTO for "new" books! Click HERE to learn more!
